C...

Doesn't bother me, certainly not compared to other stuff being posted by some active members.

As you say, not as bad as other stuff, but not ideal either.

Unless she's inviting the viewer to particpate in a clever money laundering scheme, one wonders what we are to infer from the shirt's subtle message...

Oh men don't want to go to jail, but a glance at popular porn includes terms that are very frequent like "underage" or "teenage sluts". They don't want to get caught, but they the ones who want young, want young.

So it's marketing a sense of sexual power to young girls. As far as DU, the people who own it say they have no control over content. Since there are very few teenagers on this site it's pretty weird.

I don't fault DU for the ads, because I know that they're generated by some arcane google algorithm, but it's an odd juxtaposition. I suspect that google latched onto the recent "stuck in the sculpture" thread, and maybe the Rude Pundit's threads as well.

I spotted the ad on my computer at work, and it's not as though I'm committing any naughtiness on this system...

And it reminds me of this tumblr post:

darkmarxsoul:

iflybikes:

When men talk of women and girls in terms of legal/not legal, what they’re really saying is “I already sexually objectify this child and would attempt to fuck her if there were no laws in the way.”

You can’t deny that is fucking scary.

Sometimes there are things that just sort of vaguely seem wrong, but you can’t put your finger on why…until it’s worded like this, and suddenly everything slides into place and you feel like someone punched you in the gut.

The normalization of the idea of adult men fetishizing young teens is not new. There's a song posted in ism's thread about misogynistic music that's about this, and it's from the 50's or 60's.

Now that porn is tainting so many other aspects of society it's getting more noticeable. Maybe enough people might start to notice it and decide it's a problem that it might actually change. That kind of thing is the goal of radical feminism, and it's why we complain about these kinda things.

And just thought I'd also mention, there are many who are busy pushing the idea that it's 'natural' for adult men to fetishize young teenage girls, e.g. making up reasons to rationalize it using bullshit like evo psych.
