Wait a minute. I had a post hidden - so I can no longer post?

Can I post here?

A DUer gave an example of an offensive, sexist remark. I asked her about another, she agreed that it, too, was offensive, and someone decided that to alert?

When a thread is about offensive sexist remarks, where does one draw the line?

When I am a juror, I try to read the whole thread to the context. These jurors apparently did not.

And... I always give an explanation. I think that "no explanation provided" is lazy and cowardly.

My recollection is that you cannot start an OP in the forum where the hide occurred for one hour. Make7 Jun 2014 #1

At the bottom of the Automated Message it should detail what limitations were placed on your account.

No new threads in that particular forum for an hour.

p.s. sorry to hear about the hide. They're never pleasant. OP locks are a different matter however as they have no consequences that I'm aware of, and you're usually free to repost locked OPs in other forums. It's a shame more locked LBN OPs aren't reposted in GD for example as they're often very good and would be appreciated by the DU community.

because a moderator thinks it does not fit, and a hidden post where it is clear the jurors did not bother to read the whole thread.
