I admit they certainly gave a lot of space to 'Stephen Helfer', printing his entire negative letter. And, btw, the link provided for that letter in the citations doesn't work. So it could be simply one person adding that section. Is it correct? What were the circumstances, has she ever addressed it? For all we know, she'd talked to admin privately, and found out that they simply weren't going to do it, in which case her coming out with a statement of support would have been even more false than staying silent.

So the site might or might not be a 'hit' site. Heck, maybe that section was even put in there by this 'Stephen Helfer', who does appear to be specifically unhappy with her, as opposed to every other professor on campus who didn't 'stand up'.

At the bottom of the page is a link, "A Project of the Legal Insurrection."

Follow that, and look on the About page to see that Legal Insurrection is the blog of Cornell Clinical Professor and Director of the Securities Law Clinic William Jacobson. http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/faculty/bio.cfm?id=311

Watch some of the videos on his blog's About page, or read some of his posts, to gauge his POV.

Jacobson is also a conservative pundit. He has provided commentary on legal and political issues in The Wall Street Journal,[8] The Washington Post,[9] Fox News,[10] CBS Evening News,[11] The Washington Times,[12] The Providence Journal[13] and Newsday, among others.[14] He is also a contributor to Politicos "Arena".[1]

I sympathize with the many faculty members and librarians across the company who have lost their jobs since 2007.

Our local law library seems to have fired some staff. I miss them.

But the conservative philosophy that William A. Jacobson espouses is to blame, not Elizabeth Warren.
