Mail order cannabis - is this for real?

I know they closed down Silk Road for selling drugs online, but there are several places online now where weed can be purchased anonymously using bitcoin or reloadable cards, and I'm curious if anyone has experience with this.
How safe is it?
I live in a state where it is illegal to possess and to grow.
The only weed available is Mexican trash, and they want a lot of money for it.
I have medical issues and I know cannabis could help with those. I'm also over 65.

If you have connections with someone in a state where MMJ is legal, maybe they could get some for you.

I've been smoking pot for 25 years, which has been a lifesaver for my migraines, but the canna caps are even better!

She has several strains available, starting at $2 each, min order of $100 by mail. Made with coconut oil, and sometimes I'll rub some on my neck when it's tight, topically really helps, too.

I found her through craigslist, actually, but haven't seen her ad in awhile since the state started cracking down on unlicensed herbal sellers. She is still selling tho, just was in touch with her today.

I sometimes buy the cbd caps at the legal stores (with mainly the cannabinoids* and min thc) which work well, but not quite as well as the canna caps.

Probably bc the former isn't made with oil, just a powdery substance inside (which tastes awful if just wanting a bit, unlike the yummy coconut oil

Some people might choose to use other oils in their recipe, but coconut is really the best.

* for those who are unaware what cannabinoids are, they are the pain/nausea etc relieving components of the plant, while thc is the psychoactive part.

but assume that the PO has ways of inspecting suspicious packages.
They certainly are legally allowed to open packages.

without a warrant

4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant.

I'm lucky though and have a lot of young friends that come here to fish in my farm pond and they keep me well supplied.

I say this as someone who is lucky enough to live in a state where it is legal; it has helped immensely with my medical problems. I think for now, as others have suggested, you would be better off either going to a state where it is legal and stocking up, or finding someone who can get it for you. You don't want legal problems on top of your medical issues.

The problem, as you know, with buying the street drug is that you don't know what is in it. For medical purposes you are going to want something with a high CBD content and a low THC content.

One thing that I use for pain that is supposed to be legal everywhere because it does not have any THC is a product made by a company called Sacred Herb Medicinals. It is an anti-inflammatory pain stick that you rub on the afflicted area of your body. It contains CBD from hemp oil, which is not illegal. The company is in Bend, Oregon. You might try ordering it from then.

Good luck! Please let the group know how it works out for you; I know there are many people who need access to Cannabis for medical reasons who can't get it yet. Hopefully that will change soon!

It went very smoothly, and the package came to my mailbox. It looked like any other package.
It was wrapped inside with three different bags; the outer one was opaque; the second one was thermally sealed, and the inner one was vacuum packed. There was no odor, and it looked totally innocuous until you open the innermost bag.
And the quality is magnificent. I'm sold.
If anyone wants more info, just PM me here.
