I want Bernie to win so bad---but feel it is hopeless .
Bernie is doing well in Michigan. Could this be a game changer?

(11,605 posts)But I am not getting my hopes up. Polls showed Hillary up by a bunch there.

(24,411 posts)were downplaying expectations in MI. She said one surrogate said, "We don't really need Michigan delegates to win."
Their internal polling must have revealed some alarming indicators.
We've still got a long way to go though....

(10,345 posts)He's jumped up in the polls there quite fast lately. If tonight shows that he turned the tables in less than a week then... Damn!

(15,715 posts)he carries the area. Flint just went for Clinton. So I believe that black majority areas will go Clinton, otherwise Bernie.

(2,603 posts)But Sanders has a 10 point lead right now. If it holds Sanders is likely to take the state.

(2,603 posts)hell It might even take a couple of days to have a final tally for Wayne county.
Even a very close loss of MI would be huge.

(4,797 posts)So a tie or even a small loss would be good. A win would be HUGE.

(1,230 posts)Even after all these absolute assurances that Clinton had this in the bag and countless references to polls showing 60%+ support for her across the board. A Sanders victory (which is looking increasingly likely) would/will be summarily dismissed as inconsequential and/or expected for the get-go, if not outright ignored.
Would honestly love someone to make a collection of all those threads/posts in one place, but I certainly don't have the stomach for it.
Anyway, on a more positive note, go Bernie! And thank you to his aides and all his staff and supporters in Michigan (and across the nation) for your tireless efforts!

Then again, they are probably going to cite 15 March, where Helliary will catch enough delegates to get the nod.

(25,699 posts)her name is "Hillary." A nickname is one thing, I suppose, but let's not go into straight-up name mangling. Peeve of mine, maybe, but I just find it rather tasteless.

(5,506 posts)This race is far from over. Do not be swayed by how the MSM is reporting delegates. They are ALL including the superdelegates in a proportionate way in the totals they show on TV. This is a psychological trick to influence voters to THINK Hillary is running away w/the election. Not.so. She is less than 200 delegates ahead in actuality.
How do you think CA, OR, & WA state will go? Relax. But not too much! LOL
