We'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.

P.S. If the precincts are roughly the same size, then the 30 precincts would account for about 8,000 votes. Even if she won them all, couldn't change outcome.

That's what it's come to, in our system, and with the Clinton campaign. I don't trust our system. I think it's very riggable. And I don't trust the Clinton campaign one bit after the swiftboating of Sanders that they pulled off with John Lewis' knowing or unknowing participation.

The CNN election site says Genessee has 87% reporting, with Clinton 51, Sanders 47. If I understand things correctly, Genessee was supposed to be more of a Clinton county than that, i.e., Sanders is doing better there than expected (as he did overall in MI--much better than expected).

The NYT election site says Genessee has 190 of 219 precincts reporting, with Clinton 51.1 and Sanders 47. (--"according to A.P.," it says).

So, 29 precincts have not yet reported, or have not yet reported to CNN and AP/NYT, or CNN and AP/NYT have not reported what they know (though all have called the state for Sanders). They are all in Genessee.

AP/NYT has called it for Sanders, with 99% reporting, and with Sanders 49.9 (getting 65 pledged delegates) and Clinton 48.2 (getting 58 delegates). (They specify 4,801 of 4830 precincts reporting--exactly 29 still out.)

CNN has called it for Sanders, with 97% reporting, and with Sanders 49.9 (getting 68 delegates) and Clinton 48.2 (getting 59 delegates).

The numbers above are different, but not by much. No question it's pretty close-- but I don't think it could change if the outstanding 29 precincts break approximately like the rest of the county.

I doubt that CNN or AP/NYT would have called it for Sanders if they had numbers showing it could change when those 29 precincts report. But who knows? They dearly want Clinton in the White House and wouldn't mind looking like fools for a day, to aid a fix and help accomplish that. Triumphant headline: "Corporate Media Giggles at Mistake - Clinton wins!"

I would put nothing past them. Nothing!

And beyond that, I don't know what's going on.

and I had volunteered with Americans Coming Together to knock on doors on Election Day. We ended up in an affluent neighborhood in PA where everyone knew it was Election Day and had either voted or was going to. They didn't need us there. That added insult to injury for me the next day.

Trouping out legions of voters in well organized blocs has been a Dem stock and trade as opposed to dirty tricks voter suppression and poll tampering of all sorts by the GOP faithful. Of course electronic voting machines, mostly owned by the GOP but able to be used in a variety of cute ways besides software manipulation by any establishment control is a separate and also broad issue.

So I would ask if the dysfunction is just not a local problem whether the GOTV is just better pushed by team Hillary in certain loyal districts.

In 2000 absolutely nothing was done about blatant cheating in a multitude of picayune methodologies and a few major crimes. For both parties this seems just fine with the GOP only crusading on a non issue- voter fraud- to disrupt Dem legitimate strategies. It's hard without actual evidence even to expose- almost uselessly after the fact- a decisive fraud and prove what it accomplished. Sad state of affairs, and no the FBI will not help.

Bill must be counting the votes in Detroit.

I have been helped out with counting votes at precincts twice over the years and I can tell you there is certainly room for error (or shenanigans) if they are still calling in the votes as they did in past years. You could really say whatever you wanted. Hopefully with technology it is getting better on that front.

We are going against the Clinton political machine & we're a small candidate in a party in which the Clintons have reigned supreme for how many decades now? Pulling off a win like that last night was nothing short of miraculous.

Thank you Michigan.
