probably play on public courses and I can't see him hanging with those guys unless MAYBE it was for a large sum to a charitable cause.

and the photo does look weird but it did happen.

I do not for one second believe that the Clintons and the Trumps are buddy-buddies, but they are obviously in the same social circles. It's a circle that I would never want a part of even if I had the means.
