Are you going to let them do this to my future?

I would add this: As Bernie has said; our most pressing issue is climate change, and that isn't even on the DLC/ DNC's radar. The science and evidence is clear: if we don't take fairly drastic steps immediately, rising global temperatures will very swiftly (within the next decade or two) lead to massive floods, droughts, global military conflict, a refugee crisis unlike any the world has ever seen, lost coastal communities, stronger storms, global famine, and ultimately ecological collapse which will in turn cause atmospheric collapse (not enough oxygen to sustain life). Ocean flora provides 65% of our oxygen, rain forests the other 35%. We're destroying the latter for cattle feed and pasture and palm oil plantations at a completely unsustainable rate. The former is being destroyed by rising sea temperatures, pollution and biodiversity loss. Our economy won't be much of an issue when there isn't enough oxygen to fill our lungs or those of any other species on the planet.

not pragmatic! Ponies! Don't you think that it's time for a woman President?! Do you want (her pal) Trump to win (even though Bernie polls better)? Vote Blue no matter who!

and they identify with brand, er, "Team Blue". It's all about winning the game to them, even if we all lose our lives because of it.

but there are other possible remedies to those problems, and voters should be coming to some sense of which ones they will unite around.

The DNC, it's leadership, and the party's domination by Third-WAY politicians can be addressed from inside the party or from outside the party.

It's all a matter of which possibilities are chosen as objectives to be achieved. A political party is mostly an organization of convenience that helps elect politicians that address problems of the voters at the party base. A party full of politicians that don't address the problems of it's voting base is a house divided against itself. It will only stand as long as its voters allow it to be propped up.

We're at place where the New Dems clearly can't live with voters on the left and yet can't live without them. This can't long continue without asking a lot of voters to absorb lot of abuse and still supply votes and campaign support.

This relationship can't really continue a change -must- happen. You can go broke trying to save a friend whose a drunk by buying them drinks. It's time to save the friend and ourselves by cutting them off and making changes.

We can do that from inside the organization or from outside it. We do have choice, we don't have to travel with the abusing drunk The money and effort we're spending can be used much better.
