VANCOUVER, Wash. At least 5,000 people lined up outside a Vancouver high school Sunday morning to see presidential candidate Bernie Sanders speak.

The democratic candidate is scheduled to speak at Hudson's Bay High School starting at 1 p.m., doors open at 11 a.m. | We'll be live streaming the event on KATU.com
The high school can only fit about 5,000 people.
Sanders was in Portland last August, and more than 28,000 people showed up to see him.
Political experts say Sanders is coming to Vancouver for a reason.
"Oregon is going to matter this year. Washington is going to matter. I think California in June is going to matter," Reed College Political Science professor Paul Gronke said.
Gronke says this election cycle things are different.
Normally each party pretty much has their nominee by Super Tuesday, but Bernie is showing no signs of quitting yet. That means the Washington democratic primary on March 26th and the Oregon primary in May will mean something.
Peace.

(50,130 posts)Catching a cold. Just couldn't do it. Too many people I know have gotten pneumonia lately.

(19,089 posts)And while the virus is suppressed and inactive, I still have symptomatic vestiges in my pulmonary tract that are causing me problems, but I am still on top of them and they continue to reduce ... So yeah ... Totally understand ...
Bernie came out to the overflow FIRST .... Gave a quick but totally Bernilicious speech ... I sure love that man ...
Take care of yourself ...

I don't care if they say call the police or where is your proof. I truly think with all the stuff that has gone on at the polling places that many of Bernie's votes were stolen, machine or tabulator coded to switch. This is really a war against a rigged system. The thousands of people that show up is making a statement that other candidates can't make.
Some one said that Trump is doing this to help Hillary to take people away from Bernie but it backfired on Hillary because of Trump's following. It seems plausible being they are such good Oligarchy buddies. Maybe there will come a day with the truth is revealed about how corrupt our system truly is and what transpired during this election process. But I feel this election will sour many people re: the voting process.

One of my daughters uses a wheelchair when there is a lot of walking involved.
Last nite when we went to see Bernie the line was wrapped around the building to get in. One of the volunteers saw us, and grabbed up out of line and let us go inside. I was so thankful because she cannot take the heat and it was in the 90s.
These are rallies for a Democrat - not a Trump rally, and we take care of each other.

Washington - I hope enjoy having Bernie campaign in your state just as much as we have in Az.
