In 2008 as DNC he remained neutral in the primary until it was obvious Obama was going to clinch the nomination. I smell some stink of some backroom deals in terms of who was going to support "the inevitable one" if she chose to run. Dean was in the bag even before she announced. DWS has been as well (as well as providing her cover on the debates).

I'm disappointed that he's chose to not only attack Warren, but tow the Clinton corporate line. I hope Clinton loses because it's going to make Dean not only look like a fool, it will make him irrelevant. If so, he brought it on himself.

esp Clinton's big backers, for sticking by the rules of the DNC when FL and MI wanted to move up their primaries which was against the rules.

So IMO he remained neutral.
