Bernie bumper sticker question?

I recently put a Bernie 2016 bumper sticker on our car. My husband was a little reluctant about it, but agreed.

Next week we are taking a trip down to the Mississippi, LA gulf and he is worried that down there in a more repub
area they might do damage to our car. We live in MO and in an area that is sort of middle of the road lib/conservative and aren't too worried here.

Anyone living in the area we are going to visit have any comments on the dangers of displaying this sticker? It would help reassure my hubby.........

Bernie Sanders Finds Warm Welcome in Louisiana, a Red State

The Democratic presidential candidate draws a crowd of 4,500, his campaign estimates—more than Governor Bobby Jindal reportedly got at his campaign announcement.

There was this part where Jeremy, Richard and James decided to paint offensive slogans on their vehicles and see if they could make it through Alabama. With slogans such as "Man-love rules OK", "Country and Western is Rubbish", "NASCAR sucks" and "Hillary for President"... they got chased out of town by the locals in Seminole... and quickly removed their artwork.

I'm not from the area... but I'd have no qualms about going there with a Bernie 2016 sticker on my vehicle. A Hillary for President one? I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I think if they would have left off the "NASCAR sucks" they would have been okay.

I traveled across the southern tier of states with a Rmoney sticker. Someone tried to scratch it off but only scratched some paint. It was my old junking van so didn't matter. It just tickled me that I had riled someone and they couldn't do anything about it.
