Ever wonder which U.S. companies are the biggest political donors?
The following chart, created by FindTheCompany and InsiderGov using data from the Center for Responsive Politics, shows the biggest political donations to Republicans and Democrats in the period stretching from 2002 to 2015.
The totals include money from individual employees, company-owned political action committees, or PACs, and, in some cases, from the treasury of the actual company. They don't include so-called dark money, which is channeled through nonprofits that are not obliged to disclose details.
The chart is fully interactive; just hold your cursor over any of the bars. The see more details button will lead you to data on individual companies.

As the chart illustrates, many companies donate to both parties, and most make almost equal contributions to each.
