Viral musicians Corrigan Brothers release Martin O'Malley song.

Matin O'Malley is no stranger to a guitar, demonstrating his musical proclivity everywhere from The View to Wall Street. Now, however, he's the subject of a song.

Ireland's Corrigan Brothers, who penned 2008's viral hit "There's No One as Irish as Barack Obama," have released a song in support of their Irish candidate of choice: "He's Gonna Be President, Martin O'Malley."

Lyrics, sung over the reworked tune of the Obama song, include: "Now Irish America has a new man/New leadership, that is his plan/So let's get behind him and support his team/His vision is a new American Dream."

The song ends, "Too-ra-loo, too-ra-loo, it's time to party/He's going to the White House, Martin O'Malley."

The Corrigan Brothers took an interest in the candidate in 2009, when the band headlined the Irish-American Democrats Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. O'Malley introduced the band, and proved to them that he was among the first 25 viewers of the Obama song on YouTube, Ger Corrigan wrote in an email.

"We spent a lot of time with him that night; we exchanged musical tales and he kindly gave us copies of CDs of his own music," Corrigan wrote. "We found him to be really interested in people, very selfless and really sincere as well as having a genuine concern for Irish issues and Irish people."

Corrigan called the song a "sincere tribute" to a candidate who will appeal to many Irish Americans, one who is "very proud of his roots in Clonbur, Ireland."

The band plans to release a video for the song in December. In the meantime, listen to the song above.
