Andrew Yang is 'pandering' to all of us.

Not everyone has college debt. Not everyone has healthcare issues. Almost everyone is struggling.

All the institution's we seem to put so much faith in as Dems are leaving so many people behind. These people are mostly hopeless and most have given up on politicians ever making their lives better.

I talk to these people every day, face to face. Most don't think very much about politics because they are struggling. My Lyft driver last night has a degree in digital marketing and cannot get a job in her field. She has no medical expenses. My neighbor has no college debt but is being crushed my medical expenses. Both need help, ASAP.

Congress will tie up the legislation for a wealth tax and M4A for years. We know this. But small businesses, and large businesses too, will quickly warm up to the economic stimulus possible with the Freedom Dividend. We can pass this.

I posted this video late last night and it didn't get any reaction. I hope people will watch the entire thing, (and maybe read the comments top) and reconsider what you think of Yang's chances, and what you think about our chances of starting a movement to change this country in a fundamental way.

Thanks for posting. To me it is less pandering, than stating what needed to be addressed long ago.

(nb - I've met him personally, twice). Yang is broadly at 4%. That's not viability.

He could be doing 300% better than polling suggests he is...and he still wouldn't be viable for Delegates in Iowa. I actually seen him on the stump in Iowa. He has his base supporters but he doesn't have the resources to turn out a significant share of voters.

I just believe we should wait and see. I will continue to support him and because he came into the campaign with real solutions rather than an "I want to run for president and I guess I should go figure out what people want" approach.

Along with being well thought out. We really need to move to human centered capitalism as he suggests. I had long thought that the way we glorify the almighty dollar in our society was wrong but he made the big picture of the total costs that we all pay by doing so crystal clear.

that their opinions aren't sought out by polling organizations?

We'll see how his 'viability' changes as actual votes start being cast.

Scientific polling has spent year figuring out how to develop a broad understanding of people's opinions by sampling a share. It's not 100% accurate, but rarely does it get the results wrong by 400% (the minimum difference Yang would need to compete in Iowa).
