Maybe Bernie should troll the faux-woke people attacking him by picking this campaign theme song. (Original Post) DanTex Jan 2020 OP

and what kind of hose should be used. "Oh, we can't drive a fire truck that was manufactured by a corporation and we can't use a hose that isn't made of all-organic materials. And what if the water is polluted?"

THE FUCKING HOUSE IS ON FIRE! The nitpicking is getting ridiculous. Stop fighting about bullshit and who's woke and who's faux-woke. If the house is on fire I'm not going to care whether the firefighters are woke.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Anyway, it was used without measurable effect (other than the pretense of self-righteousness) four years ago.

then? He's constantly trying to get his behavioral foot out of his mouth enough to appear woke about minority and women's issues.

My Jewish husband's his age, and I recognize the problem. They're both still somewhat imprinted with the attitudes prevalent when they were growing up back in the 1940s-60s, no matter how they've advanced over the years.

There are differences nevertheless, and my husband's more "woke" than Sanders, faux or otherwise. He's naturally good natured, egalitarian, very accepting, decent, and generous toward others, and no hypocrite. I promise HIS female staff would never had had to to rebel against abuse and injustice -- in the 21st Century for god's sake. And he wouldn't need anyone to tell him what was wrong with sending Vermont's nuclear waste to a poor, Hispanic-dominated town in rural Texas because he wanted to stay reelected.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

that he didn't do as a +1 vote to the Democratic caucuses. He's as progressive as the Democratic house and senate caucuses he voted with as part of his elite job, and not even one inch more.

When rhetoric conflicts with reality, go with reality. And by his own behaviors we know a lot of his colleagues, including Joe Biden, are more "woke" than Sanders. There reasons our AA power bloc won't support him are real, not "faux."

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
