RFK Jr's Bad Company - Rick Wilson

Without further ado, here’s, who looks like a totally normal person in every way, except for the fact that she’s a rabid MAGA whackado in political bed with the worst flotsam of even Trump’s utterly sewer-tier scumbag parade. If you think she’s the only person inside RFK’s orbit with amazing MAGA credentials, think again. She’s the revolting tip of a very big fecal iceberg.

There are screen captures of Rita Palma's social media at the link. She is MAGA all the way.

Lincoln Project is about to take it to Bob Kennedy.

Democrats Should Go on the Offensive Against the Supreme Court - The Rude Pundit

*snip*

Last week, the Supreme Court not only decided to hear Trump's appeal of the ironclad, unanimous ruling by the DC Circuit Court of Appeals that "no, you motherfucker, you're not fucking immune from crimes because you were president, what fucking bullshit is that, get the fuck out of our court, fuck" or words to that effect, while legal scholars across the political spectrum agreed, adding "Go fuck yourself. You're not a king." But the high court took over two weeks to make that decision and, instead of saying, "We know both sides are ready to go. Let's do this," set the week April 22 as when they'll hear the case. Then it might not rule until some fuckin' time in June.

It was such obvious election interference in Trump's favor that you almost have to respect how blatant the whole thing was, like a coordinated effort to bring a dictatorship into being. They are doing everything they can to push the January 6 case back as far as possible, to after the election, if they can, because they've put a hold on the case progressing until they rule. It's fucked beyond fucked, and I'm kind of pissed that liberal Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson didn't at least issue a dissent, if not spill all the tea about what the hell is going on.

So, fuck it. The Judiciary is co-equal, right? Democratic leaders should act like it and go on the attack. They should call into question the ethics of all of the conservatives, especially that dick Clarence Thomas, whose wife was literally coordinating with people during the insurrection. They should demand an explanation for why the case was taken, since none was given. They should organize protests and behave like the court has gone rogue because the court has fucking well gone rogue against democracy. (Although, for fuck's sake, don't show up at their houses or SWAT them. Just fucking don't.)

Absolute Immunity Motion nugget

From page 34 of Orange Mussolini's motion for Absolute Immunity, we have this little nugget that I've bolded. Considering that we know Trump stole nuclear secrets, this seems an interesting example to use to illustrate his point.

The implications of the defendant’s unbounded immunity theory are startling. It would
grant absolute immunity from criminal prosecution to a president who accepts a bribe in exchange
for a lucrative government contract for a family member; a president who instructs his FBI Director
to plant incriminating evidence on a political enemy; a president who orders the National Guard
to murder his most prominent critics; or a president who sells nuclear secrets to a foreign adversary.

Brian Sims (D-PA) delivers my new favorite quote

https://twitter.com/jjabbott/status/1402713851251003396

Quote: “Your boos mean nothing to me. I’ve seen what makes you cheer.”

This state senator from Pennsylvania is running for Lt Governor. John Fetterman is the current Lt. Governor and I really like him. Don't know much about Sims but his comeback to the Republican legislature was awesome.

Even if You Never Watch FOX News You are Funding Their Programming

Pay for cable or satellite TV? You’re subsidizing Fox News whether you watch it or not.

Your cable or satellite TV provider pays a subscriber fee to carry Fox News. That cost is passed directly on to YOU.

Every network charges cable and satellite providers a small fee per subscriber; the one for Fox News is extraordinarily high. A typical household pays Fox News almost $2 per month—about $20 per year— via their cable or satellite provider, regardless of whether they actually watch the channel.

In 2020 and 2021, a wave of big contracts between Fox News and TV providers for subscriber fees are set to expire. These contracts make up about 65% if Fox News’ subscriber fee revenue. If we want to stop paying the Fox News “tax,” now is the time to act.

HIDDEN FEES FUELFOX NEWS’ BUSINESS
Fox News makes approximately $1.8 billion per year from hidden subscriber fees–twice as much as CNN and three times as much as MSNBC.

The network's extra-high fees, which make up most of its revenue, protect Fox News from the advertisers that are quickly abandoning it.

• Put pressure on your cable or satellite provider to stop using your money to subsidize Fox News on your dime. And you can let your cable or satellite company know you’re going to switch—unless they make a change.

• Cut the cord. You can now get your TV from streaming services that do not include Fox News. (Thanks, internet!)

• We’ll keep you updated on Fox News’ negotiations with cable and satellite providers and let you know if they’re trying to raise the price of subscriber fees in your area.

We’ll help you fight back against Fox News by depriving the network of the thing it values most of all: your money.

Unfox My Cable Box

Boycotting Faux News advertisers isn't enough. The problem is cable and satellite.

Media still failing

they should be screaming about the fact that no one has come out and briefed the public. Where is the FBI press conference , the Capitol Police presser, or state or homeland or anyone. I don't care that he's leaving soon or that they are acting secretaries. There are reports that Pence called in the National Guard. WTF? Someone has to answers these questions to the public Pronto. And the media should be screaming for it. Ron Johnson talking to Chuck Todd on MTP is not going to cut it.

Media whitewashing the Impeachment

Maybe it's just me but I am so tired of reading that Repuke Senators, other than Mitt Romney, refused to impeach Cheetolini. Yes that happened but they just whitewash over the fact that they did so without even hearing any evidence. That is the bigger travesty. We knew they were never going to remove him, the fact that they refused to even hear the evidence keeps getting lost in the picture. If the evidence had been heard, if Bolton had testified, then their no vote on impeachment makes them look all the more disgusting.

Like I said, maybe it's just me that gets annoyed by that. But it just lets them off the hook for that disgusting display of sycophancy.

Trump ally takes over crisis-ridden Postal Service as top Senate Democrat demands inquiry on hiring

Source: Washington Post

“His financial interests in companies that have business ties with the Postal Service, as well as his extensive campaign fundraising efforts, also raise concerns regarding whether and how legal prohibitions on his ethical conflicts of interest and partisan political activity as a federal employee will be addressed,” Schumer wrote to Duncan, according to a copy of the letter obtained by The Washington Post.

..snip..

DeJoy and his wife, Aldona Wos, the ambassador-nominee to Canada, have between $30.1 million and $75.3 million in assets in USPS competitors or contractors, according to Wos’s financial disclosure paperwork filed with the Office of Government Ethics. Postal Service mail processing contractor XPO Logistics — which acquired DeJoy’s company New Breed Logistics in 2014 — represents the vast majority of those holdings. Their combined stake in competitors UPS and trucking company J.B. Hunt is roughly $265,000.

So the guy with financial stakes with UPS is running the Post Office. What could possible go wrong.
