6. A 10% chance in the Bay Area

on maybe 6 days from now to near the end of the month.

Not looking around for my umbrella.

maybe to the north around Shasta and Oregon. That would be great.

But I've also heard that the rain may dry up some, but lightning strikes are possible.

Much of the problem here in the Bay Area was due to a very rare lightning storm like 3 or 4 weeks ago. I remember being awakened by the flashes and distant thunder. You just don't hear thunder here this close to the coast. Not very often.
