So... how's the weather where you are? Sucks here.

I'm going to the next 2 Duke home games. I'm rather excited by this. In a completely non-sexual way.

Music is good. Do you like music? I like music. I like listening to it best.

And man, I sure do like pie. Pie is cool.

3. I finished a school project last night before 9 pm, PST
It wasn't even due until today. At 12:30 pm. PST

When I was driving to school today, my car was blown all over the freeway. In a completely non-sexual way.

i have secret music places on the Internets. I won't say which Internet.

I like pie too. A lot. But not like-like.

6. That's cool.
You must be, like, motivated and all.

Sucks about yer car gettin' blown. Wind can be an unkind traveling partner.

I have secret music places, too, but mine are on the interwebs. My music is much too cool for mere internets.

I like cold pies, so "like-like" has always sorta been out of the question. Except for pizza pie. I like that hot. And cold, too. But yanumsen - you want it hot like if you're going out for it or something, and not snagging a piece out of the fridge after getting up to vomit at 3 in the morning.

in this thread, I can only offer you a witty and gratifying discussion on the topic of pie. Would that I could offer you a delicious dessert item, though.

What sort of pie do you find yourself needing at present? A cobbler? Something fruit-filled? Or a meringue kind of thing, with more air than anything else in it?

And I don't even so much like the cherries. I'm a big fan of that sweet goo that they swim in between the crusts, though. Put a little whipped cream on that, or better yet, a little scoop of vanilla, and that's some fine eats.

Food based paints are much better - so much more fun to clean up. And they're fun to paint on too. Chocolate sauce makes a fine 'finger paint' for instance.

53. Pie is incredibly exciting.
I'm making a pumpkin one and an apple one tomorrow. Add to that a bunch of other crap. Oh boy, I get to be Susie F*cking Homemaker again for the 50 thousandth time somehow. (Not to mention as asexual as can be, so it's excellent in regard to this thread anyway.) I'm so incredibly excited. :bounce:

Best thing about entering the medical field- I'll get to work on holidays if I want for the rest of my life. Even better.

65. Sure, in theory.
I'm just afraid I'll never have anyone to use them on. :(

70. Alright, then. I've made deals here before.
GOPisEvil is gonna bring me 2 or 3 cases of Shiner Bock (depending on the phase of the moon and alignment of planets and such) in exchange for my hot man love.

If we look at equivalent dollar values, and the fact that your place of employment in the medical field will likely have bulk discounts on the gloves, lets say the equivalent value might be somewhere around 3 or 4 thousand gloves. So here's YOUR deal: you bring me those 3 or 4 thousand gloves (non-powdered, please - the powdered ones make my skin crack), and you get the hot man love. And I'm sure we'll come up with something to do with all those gloves. That's a lot of Howie Mandel gags.

72. It's not going to happen.

Any "hot man love" that is. I don't know what it is with me and men, but nothing good ever happens. It's like I'm gross or something. I don't know. I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe my current mood just the by-product of a can of domestic light beer and a couple of powered donuts. Who knows?
Sorry.

75. Mmmmmmmmmm... powdered donuts...
You'd better quit bein' all down on yourself, Sarah, else you'll find a pizza-paddling in your future. Give things some time, at least - you've finally found a way out. Lots of good things ahead, if you take the time to get to 'em.

No one else is going down on me. :(

81. Whew! There's a post straight out of the Blue,
so to speak. ;-)

Keep yer chin up, Sarah. I'm sure within a couple of months you'll be in a much more enjoyable position, or several.

83. I hope so.
I think so. Just mass conglomerations of frustration all hitting me tonight apparently much of which is of a nature probably not suitable for this board.

91. With some of us ladies...
We can just be a bottomless pit in that department. The more we have, the more we want. I swear at times, it makes it worse. Maybe I need Prozac- numb myself and kill that drive all in one pill.

68. Weather - pretty mellow at 40 degrees, supposed to snow on
on Thanksgiving afternoon.

We aren't going to any games; in fact, we don't even have a t.v.
So, our entertainment will be provided by Netflix.
I agree, music is good. I like music. Especially the listening kind of music.

And I could be on a first-name basis with pie, except for my hips. And that's in a thoroughly non-sexual way. Can't eat too much pie, goes right to my hips.

But will be having pumpkin pie and real whipped cream on Thanksgiving.
Real whipped cream is even more cool than.... cool whip... which isn't real.

Okay.

79. If you sweet talk the pie
sometimes you can convince it to pretty much leave you alone after it's consumed. Wanna recipe for a mostly guilt-free chocolate pie? You know my price - one orgy story. ;-)

74. It's cold here.
I listened to some music today. I'm gonna have some pie tomorrow. Now this is the sort of thread I like. Just my speed. :)

80. You seem to be well equipped for the cold,
footwear-wise, at least.

Didja listen to any GOOD music? C'mon - share with the class.

I'll prolly have some pie tomorrow, too. I know for certain I'm having some cheesecake. In a completely non-sexual way.

;-)

82. The thing with my feet is they are always absolutely freezing.
I've got on two pairs of heavy sox plus the fuzzy slippers and it's still like I've got blocks of ice on the ends of my legs instead of feet.:(

85. You need
radiant floor heating.

Write the Ask This Old House guys and maybe you could get Tommy or Norm to come out and install if for you and film it for me to watch on a Saturday afternoon 'cause I dig the This Old House programs and all. Stopping rambling now. Need 'nuther beer.
