Question on "A History of Violence" - Spoiler Warning |
|
I really liked the movie up until the end. It all seemed over very quickly - bang, he kills his brother & then goes home to have dinner with his family... no words are said. The kids seem to accept him back, while it takes longer for the wife. It kind of leaves you wondering - is it really ok?
Any thoughts on the movie?

The script was horrible, imo and solid acting couldn't save it.

I was expecting a lot better, since it was on lots and lots of Top 10 lists.
It didn't look or feel like a Cronenberg film.

I was expecting it to be a lot longer... and, then I was like, "hmm, that's it?"
