I just saw an ad against one of the Democratic candidates for Governor, Alex Sink, sponsored by the Republican Governors something or other. There's this voice telling me because as bank president she cut 1000s of jobs, and made $8 million, they declare she's, "not one of us, she's one of them." :eyes: As if the Republican governors are a bunch of paupers.

My best friend, my former cat-sitter in my last hometown, has a very, very sick Golden Retriever. Rosy has not been well, and has a whole series of health issues. She got very sick from taking generic Thyroid medicine. The vet saw her today, and said she has, at best, pneumonia, or at worst, heart and/or kidney failure. Sue is a total mess (she loves her critters like so many of us do - like a/another child. I don't know if Rosy will survive through the night... if she does, they have a terrible decision to make. Would you please keep Sue, her family, and Rosy in your thoughts and prayers?

(this is the same lady who has been so good to me all through my hell, including, especially, the hunt for C.C.)

My friend is a tough woman, but this situation has her in tears. It's just awful not being able to be there.

but I'm not sure they're "there" yet. If this is pneumonia, I think she can recover. But if her heart and kidneys are failing, it's just a matter of time. The dog's only 7 years old. :(
