dismiss stories that aren't palatable. It's childish and looks as silly as anything the other side does.

There's no reason not to take problems within a HC system like the Canadian model seriously. Study them, determine the cause and propose a solution before the same trouble arises in our newly proposed system. What's wrong with acting preemptively?
