Or even feel the need to. That reluctance you speak of continues even after being trained to kill and actually killing during wars. Also don't forget how no amount of training stops PTSD either.

I firmly believe that humanity is not naturally warlike. We may have our violent fights but those are mostly personal and involve emotions. Going to war requires training that goes contrary to nature.
