I agree with you and Janeanne Garafolo. Being a Bush supporter these days is a character flaw. Our country is being destroyed. The faith-based initiative passed the House yesterday. Faith-based organizations will use our tax money to discriminate against people who don't share their "values" as they demand allegiance to their beliefs before they dole out our money. Our environment is under attack. We're facing the overturn of Roe vs. Wade. Our courts could be stacked with fundamentalists who honor only their own religion and no others. So, yes, I do think less of Carrie for her association with this man. He was a GOP operative. I wouldn't ask him to be a guest in my home. I'm surprised at her choice of friends.
But, for now, it's still a free country. Her choice. Perhaps she shares his views.
