to the U.S. and wait for orders are ALWAYS going to be in trouble until they finally get strong enough to protect themselves.
Chavez's alliances with Russia, China, India, etc., as well as the newly forming solidarity in Latin America may go a long way toward keeping Venezuela not only protected from the corrupt former oligarchy, but also from wild aggression from Bush. I surely hope that's the story.
