There are about 3,000 Muslims among Mexico's population of 100 million people, and none has been connected with or implicated in any terrorist activity.

Serrano told local media Thursday that Mexican authorities paid attention to the movements of such Islamic groups at the request of the U.S. government.

You can't be too careful about groups that have never been connected with any terrorist activity, can you? :sarcasm:
