It is the "last resort." That means they have to line up troops (done), try to get international support (UN...but fuck them. done!), secure the "base," (done....TERROR...Syria is attacking our troops), and finally, get a scapegoat to blame (DONE and DONE! It will be all Israel's fault! Securing the leftists attacks on the administration and further splitting our party and our country!)!!!
They have it all planned out....the right...the terrorists are responsible! The left....the Israelis are responsible. Everyone is responsible EXCEPT for the BUSH ADMINISTRATION!
