30. Even with an Ammdt defining marriage as between a man and

a woman, the ruling stands that the Constitution upholds the equality of all. I think they are in the same place Vermont was. They can ban gay marriage but are forced to grant the rights and responsibilities of marriage to all people. They can call it civil unions if they want, but they don't seem to have much choice.
