But are they dumb or just brutally cunning? Escalate is the word for this. Bush can clearly get away with bombing a *training base* of the *evil* Republican Guard, at home. But the bombers will likely come from the two carriers now sitting (like ducks)in the Persian Gulf. Or stealth bombers from Garcia Diego Island, likely both. What will Iran do in response if bush attacks? My guess is that they will strike back. For sure they hit at the carriers. They may even have missiles that can hit Garcia Diego. Should a carrier be hit and sink with thousands of sailors lost then all the stops come off. We hit numerous command and control nodes and nuclear sites with battle field nucs. The Green Zone and oil shipping ports in the Gulf get hammered with Iranian missiles. Oil goes to $250 a barrel. We live off the Reserves for a few months as the Gulf Region goes into complete turmoil. Elections are canceled and martial law is put into effect. All US National Debts are canceled. Countries around the world are told that *economic warfare* (based on our definition) is equal to military warfare and will be responded to as such. We are on the doorstep of WW3. And let me say that PBS, now run by corporate amerika, has been running a documentary made in 2005 about life aboard the Nimitz. It is 20 hours in ten segments and very people oriented, 'get to know your sailors' stuff. It played every night last week. Coincidence? Bob
