5. perhaps Kerry's position should be "Either the president loves freedom and
equality, or he doesn't. As President, I will protect freedom and equality to the best of my ability. I don't believe it's the President's job to promote modifications to our brilliant forefathers' Constitution that limit freedoms, that reduce equality, when our great Country has been moving forward to guarantee the greatest degree of freedom and equality in the world for over 200 years. The bush administration has reduced freedoms and limited equality more than any administration in US history, and if president bush wants to focus on limiting freedoms and reducing equality even more, I say, bring it on. In an time when our unemployment has exploded to record numbers, and promises made to make our streets safer from terrorist attacks have been broken, leaving our cities struggling to pay for additional police under the new 'bush tax,' it seems to me that karl rove's obsession with reducing freedoms even further is an insulting, wrongheaded approach for the American People."
