Quite amazing! I guess they pissed off old Arlen once too many. I know about his problems in a republican primary and about his various past sins (some of them I guess the list is longer), but I cannot stop having a soft spot for Specter. For one thing he is smart and very knowledgeable in his main area of expertise. He is also an adult. And a fighter. I am sure he i snot going to turn into Bernie Sanders overnight, but he will be at least as good (better in a variety of ways is my guess) than Ben Nelson.
All in all, though I am all for post-partisanship and am really sorry that so far it did not exactly work out, I cannot but feel like jumping up and down (virtually, I am at work) at the partisan deliciousness of this :rofl:
