Protesters take control of east part of Libya

In the eastern Libyan city of Tobruk, very few Gaddafi loyalists remain as protesters have managed to take control of the region and military officials have reportedly pledged their allegiance with the demonstrators.

The BBC's Jon Leyne is one of the first foreign journalists to get into Libya and says much of the eastern part of the country is now in the control of the opposition and that "there's very few loyalists the government's been able to muster to show to the cameras".
