Their news service is decidedly right-wing. When they go to a break and the news segment is played, you'd think you were listening to Fox News. Just in the past day I've heard the following:

- On the ubject of US deaths in Iraq: the latest count is offered (1500), followed by a soundbite from Oliver North praising the occupation. The reporter then repeated North's assertion that the soldiers gave their lives for a noble cause.

- Report on a suicide bombing in Iraq, using the meaningless right-wing "homicide bomber" phrase rather than "suicide bomber".

- Bush's Social Security scam gets glowing coverage. Message: "everyone agrees that Social Security must be fixed soon". The one voice of opposition was only quoted by the reporter (a congresswoman- don't remember who it was), and the reporter summarized her comments with, "but she agrees that Social Security's problems must be fixed soon".

There are plenty of other examples of this right-wing bias- it's really too obvious to miss it. It's literally like Fox News.

Why would Air America Radio be using a right-wing news source in their breaks?
