:eyes:

ran out for ice cream tonight. stopped at a local store. got 2 anti-Bush bumper stickers. Customer noticed and told me that Bush was "doing the best job he could."

I said, "Yes, and its sad that is the best he can do. If we had somebody in office that had half a brain, I am SURE he could do better."

He said, "Well, I am glad our troops are fighting for your freedom."

Me: "Look pal. The only thing they are fighting for is A) To come home alive and B) Because their government wants to play politics using bullets to justify their global domination. The Iraq "war" has to do with geo-political maneuvering, oil rights, economic pandering and U.S. elections. If YOU support this fight so millionaire political elitists can further their careers, then YOU are about as 'Un-American' as they come."

Blank stare follows....

I finished: "BTW 'my friend', I served in the Army. The only thing sicker than your lack of understanding regarding this war is that YOU profess to support Vets (ME). Save it for someone who is on your team. I sure as hell am not and neither are MANY of the guys & gals getting their asses shot for YOUR politicians political gains."

my ice cream (in case you were wondering) tastes GREAT
