I totally believe this story and waited for it to debut in the American press for nearly 10 days now, but it was only mentioned in passing by Keith Olberman and Anderson Cooper as if they were delivering a punch line to a bad joke. This story was picked up in Australian, English and Scottish newspapers, but never given any credence here.
It reminds me of the real Jessica Lynch story that was reported by the BBC and summarily panned by the american news media who would have us all believe that Jessica was shot, stabbed and went down in a hail of gunfire. I guess it's just another story that has sunk like a rock in the american pond scum that we call our media.
