4. He's Having a Meltdown, Plus His Jihad Against Bill MOYERS
You beat me to the thread. But I disagree that he is "making sense". As is usual with him, anything that jeopardizes his graven idol, Shrub, is cause for hysteria. He just promo-ed the poll question on his website (where I won't go), "If Iraq chaos continues, will (Shrub) lose the election." He is HYSTERICAL.

Then he started his jihad on MOYERS months ago, now is saying an upcoming topic will be MOYERS winning a Peabody Award for "left wing propaganda". This from a jerk who is so self-deluded about his own supposed journalist independence:

O'Reilly says some journalists have turned into political activists (NYDN)

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ideas_opinions/story/178194p-154963c.h...

.... What I'm not wrong about is that more than a few so-called journalists have turned into activists - people who are dedicating themselves to getting a certain party or person elected and are using their positions in the media to do it. ....

.... But let's face it, with the rise of entertainers like Rush Limbaugh and other radio talk-show people who openly root for the Republicans, those on the left feel they are at a disadvantage. ....

So, you as a news consumer should know American journalism is becoming increasingly partisan, and ideologues on both the right and the left have infiltrated the news business at very high levels.

But remember this: Passionate news analysis is one thing, but abusing the public trust is quite something else.
