5. I'll take a stab at some of your questions Notafraid
I'm a Canadian living in California and have been away for several years but here goes:

what are the laws?the same?

The laws are pretty much the same but you don't have to appear in court for stupid offenses. Like minor traffic violations and stuff.

what about American life do you not like?

I dislike how ingrained religion is in the political system here. I find it rather strange. In Canada there is never any mention of religion or God in politics. If there was the politician would not be tolerated and kicked to the curb.

Also the war like mentality (of the republicans) why do so many countries need to be invaded or have American democracy forced down their throats.

what do we do that is rude?what is considered rude in Canada?

Bad manners and arrogance are not very well accepted. I think this is why a lot of Americans get a bad rap in Canada. Canadians generally stop and listen to each other and don't try to force opinions on each other to much.

like a cartoon i saw,do you have cable TV?HBO,ESPN American TV?

All Americian stations and cable stations (except FOX Cable News) plus a lot of european and international programing.

How is the job market?

The job market is looking good as many American companies are outsourcing to Canada for various reasons including the healthcare system which is easier for them to bear.

With a population of 30 million, maybe we can migrate North and help make Canada a more powerful soft power and spokesman in the world in the future.(that is if you guys want that kind of thing)

That would be cool. I love most Americans (especially the liberals) and Canada could use an insurengce of fun people. Just leave all fundies and zeloets here please.

I have no idea how Canada thinks, can some of you give me a idea please?? Thank you =)

Canadians generally have a Live and Let Live attitude and local news stations are controlled by the CRTC which is in turn controlled by Parliment which has 5 (I think) political parties. So no one party can infulence the media.

I may be incorrect in some of my answers but like I said it's been several years since I lived there.

Hope it helps.

Will
