My letter to Senator Hagel: Comments please?

Dear Senator Hagel:

I am confident that the many vote-counting anomalies in the past Presidential election have been brought to your attention.

Please raise your voice in addition to those in the House of Representatives, John Conyers, Jr., Jerrold Nadler and Robert Wexler, asking the GAO to investigate the efficacy of voting machines and new technologies used in the 2004 election, how election officials responded to difficulties they encountered, and what we can do in the future to improve our election systems and administration.

Due to your close relationship with the McCarthy Group, the parent company of ES&S, I suspect that your interest in verifying that our Democracy has not been harmed by electronic voting machines is tantamount.

Thank you for representing me in Washington. I have been proud to say, “That is my Senator.” I have been so impressed with the personal integrity and strength of conscience that have been evident in your words and actions.

Please Senator Hagel, do whatever is in your power to protect the integrity of our Democracy.
