..I have been reading all of the anti-red state posts here since the day after the election. If I didn't happen to be stuck here in Greensboro, I would be outta this state faster than you could say "Jesse Helms sucks!". However, practicality reigns; I have a 10 month old and various monetary things to attend to. Rest assured I plan on blowing this Popsicle stand ASAP (which means about 2 yrs.) I would come join my democratic brethren in the north, but its to damn COLD up there guys!! I just really appreciate finally being among people who think the way I do and don't ridicule me for having a "soft" heart. It is so lonely here in repuke land; and to make matters worse, I have one LIVING IN MY HOUSE (abusive boyfriend/father of her child,etc.)Now I'm cursing my soft heart. Only because of our 10 year friendship and the fact that she has no where else to go keeps me from kicking her out on her bush-lovin' ass. Any advice on how to curb my mental anguish would be appreciated. BTW, SO glad I found this group!
