THE MAYOR OF SOMERVILLE, Massachusetts, is sorry. Really sorry. He recently called the city's annual December celebration a "Christmas party." And we can't be having that. What he meant to say, he explained, is "holiday party," because the word "Christmas" contains . . . um, a word they don't use in Somerville, Massachusetts.

So effing lame. What they fail to point out is that the Mayor is a very religious Catholic who was just trying to include people of all faiths and beliefs, wtf is wrong with that??? I'm a Christian who celebrates Christmas and doesn't believe that my religion should be forced down everyone elses throats. This "campaign" by the right over Christmas is getting ridiculous!!!
