3. Jacob, the sentiment is good but look at where India is right now
India depends heavily on US investment in the form of outsourced jobs. It provides a tremendous boost to the Indian economy. Additionally, the US is fully behind Pakistan in regards to the war on terror. The whole Pakistan/Indian arms race with nuclear weapons is a major issue here too. The end result is that India is in no place to risk alienating the US, no matter what they think of the US war in Iraq. And the US knows this.
