If I were conducting the interview and you answered me in that fashion,
I'd quietely cross you off my list as: 1) Not having any ability (or
desire?) to think on your feet, and 2) Not having any sense of humor.

At my company, we actually make a point of always taking the
candidates out to lunch, and yes, that's part of the interview
process; it's intended to see how you behave just "folks-to-folks"
in a relatively unstructured evironment. We once had someone "fail
lunch", although they failed most everything else as well.
