I have generally been pro-Israeli and still tend to support most Israelis, but the Sharon regime is NOT worthy of the blood of US troops shed in its behalf. He is a thug as are his henchmen and I do not blame other nations in the area for wanting to have some deterrent against Israeli use of US troops as dogs against their people and homes.

ANY decent leader will seek to protect his people against aggression. Protecting is one thing. Sharon seeks the sort of annihilation he claims his enemies still demand against him.

Iranian leaders seek to assure the protection of their people and state. Who can really blame them. They saw what NOT having WMD did for Iraq.
