The hateful things that that man has advocated have ruined people's lives. While I'd agree that taking the high road might be admirable, I'm not going to blame people for their reactions to his ill health and possible impending death.

Honestly, I don't blame them any more than I'd blame someone for hating their rapist and being gleeful at their death. While I think it takes extraordinary character to be able to rise above and forgive someone who committed such a horrible act against you, I'm not going to blame those who can't. That is how I feel about the reactions to the news about Falwell. I'm not going to point at them and judge them for those reactions that, let's face it, Falwell deserves.
