I used to read every column. I'm getting better and now only read Brooks on occasion. Like today. His column today was on abortion. He says the world is in a mess because of one justice, Blackman, who legalized abortion which should have been left to the states to legalize, which they would have in good time. (GAG) And if the stupid left would just give up on the issue everything will be right with the world again. (gag a million more time.)

I usually send him an angry email but this time I decided maybe I'd post it on the discussion board about his column. I did, and on and off all day, I've been reading intelligent posts from like thinkers. I tell you, its enough to swell my heart with pride in my fellow Americans.

The column is here: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/21/opinion/21brooks.html?hp
or skip it and go directly to the comments here:

and as one poster suggested, don't miss http://www.rudepundit.blogspot.com/
