374. Thanks to all who've served

To the service members and their families, whether peacetime or wartime, stateside or overseas. The military isn't a great employer, the pay sucks (for most people), the benefits are getting slashed every year, and family life can be very difficult when one member is shipped off here and there, leaving the rest of the family to take up the slack. And especially lately but even in years past, the NG has been misused and abused time and again. You certainly don't get enough from our country for the service you perform.

And a big Welcome to DU! to all the newbies who've shown up in this thread!
