I'm a professional programmer/analyst with over 20 years experience.

Making this code proprietary is ridiculous, because there is nothing special about it.

The code to count votes could be written by a college freshman in a basic programming course.

The code for the touch screen portion could be written by any competent programmer who's been working in VB or any other GUI technology for a year or two.
