Lost opportunity: bush could've been a modern Hans Brinker!

You know, the Dutch boy who saved his country by putting his finger in the dike to prevent the flood.

Yes, the story is fiction. But this part is true, Bush kept the dike from being properly reinforced. Then when the flood came, he didn't do anything to help those who were trying to survive.

If Hans Brinker is a hero, does that make bush the anti-hero?

Oh well, this is his second missed opportunity: 9/11 and his flight FROM terror was the first. A third chance? Do we really want to see how he'll fail again?
