Then in the late 70's they started a membership drive, door to door after those that were disillusioned by main stream religions. More people joined them, then they got together with the catholics over the abortion issue and through manipulation and buying would be law makers, they found someone they thought would be their spokesman, Ronnie the Reagan. If you do some research on the fundies donating money to the repigs and to certain lobbyists you will find that theres something fishy about where the fundies are getting the money to make donations and fund their lobby groups. Think about it, TV preachers with billions of dollars at their disposal, we are ready know they have no morals or integrity, so where does this lead to? GW? The repig congress?
