10. Really, Mrs. Bush?
>"There are still a lot of people not spending Christmas in their homes, but I encourage families to have all the same traditions,"<

I'd like her to explain to all of us -- using words of one syllable so we can be sure to understand -- how on earth some of these families will be able to "have all the same traditions" when they're still living in a car, as my friend's brother and his family are doing. It seems their FEMAnsion isn't ready for occupancy yet.

>RANT MODE ON!<
Mrs. Bush, it's tough to cook that holiday meal with all the trimmings from a hotel room without a kitchen. It's tough to put those cherished ornaments on the tree when they've been washed into Lake Ponchartrain by now. It's tough to explain to the kids why Santa won't be coming this year. After all, Mom and Dad are just trying to get through every day and find a job. If you're so g-d compassionate, maybe you and * should spend YOUR Christmas Day brightening the lives of others on the Gulf Coast. Then again, we all know the answer to that one, don't we?
>RANT MODE OFF<
