12. I am not so sure about the income thing
There are many children who, while their friends at school will all get new X-boxes and flat panel TV's, will be lucky if they get a new shirt.
It really saddens me each year the number of kids who's parents can't afford Christmas gifts. I look at all the money we spend on our children and think that they don't have any idea how lucky they are.
We have tried to make sure they have some idea from the time they were little we have always taken somewhere there is one of those Salvation Army Christmas trees with names on it and tried to make one two children's Christmas a little brighter.
Each year it gets tougher as the names on those trees grow larger.
Someday - If I were ever to come into some money or have a surplus of cash, I swear, I would do what ever I could afford to make some children's Christmas mornings brighter.
It is not so much about Christmas for these kids as it is about when they have to tell their friends what they got from Santa Clause.
